Bardia National Park

Bardia National Park is the main attraction here in Bardia. It is one of the main tourist attraction in Nepal and is also prominent national park in Nepal after Chitwan National Park. More than 8500 protected areas cover more than 5.8% land of total earth. During 1873's with establishment of Yellow Stone National Park, men kind realized need of conservation. In case of Nepal, from 65000 square miles from which 6 different types of protected areas cover about 23% land. In present contest, not only in Nepal but globally there are not many places or protected areas like Bardia National Park in terms of untouched, well managed, outlying and best sightings of more than 58 different species mammal including Royal Bengal Tiger, Great Indian one- horned Rhinoceros, Asiatic wild elephants, Fresh water Gangetic river Dolphin With an area of 968 Square kilometer and 5 different types of habitats "Sal forest which covers more than 60% of area, Mix forest, Riverine forest, Grassland and Pine forest" this national park in Nepal is home to 5 different species of deer "Spotted , hog , Swamp, Barking and Sambar deer", 3 different species of antelopes "Black buck, Blue-bull and Four-horned antelope" 37 different species of reptilians, hundreds different types of butterflies and moths and more than 438 different species of colorful birds.
